  102. We've been publishing CompuNotes (even as CyberNews) for more than a
  103. year. We have always tried to accommodate all points of view in the
  104. computing world. It always seemed that when we tried to be as balanced
  105. as possible we'd tick folks off. The last week I received a few more
  106. flame mails about our lack of OS/2 coverage. My standard response is
  107. when I can walk into a CompUSA and buy the *latest* software in OS/2
  108. we'll start doing reviews. Oh, then again, CompUSA was thinking about
  109. dropping OS/2 from the stores a few months back . . .
  110.  
  111. Seeing as this publication is a labor of love and is not designed to
  112. please everyone, I've decided to scale back our coverage. After many
  113. minutes of thought during the Simpson's here's the deal:
  114.  
  115. *   We will primarily cover the Windows world. This includes 3.11, 95
  116.     and NT. Yes, this means we actually like Microsoft and the direction
  117.     they're taking. This also meshes well with my chosen career <grin>
  118.  
  119. *   We will bring more of the helpful articles like the ThinkPad article
  120.     last week. I received such positive response to that article that I
  121.     know we need to do more.
  122.  
  123. *   We'll cover the DOS world with a little more emphasis. I would like
  124.     to see more in the way of shareware or what to do with an under
  125.     achieving PC. I'm not sure. If you would like to help in this aspect
  126.     let me know.

  128. *   We'll have more hardware reviews. Not just things like modems, video
  129.     cards, etc. but helpful little items for your desk or cables.

  131. If you are an OS/2 advocate, a MAC afficienado or, gulp, someone who uses
  132. another type of computer, CompuNotes will still provide the same web
  133. sites, news and interviews.

  157. on each line and delete that address from another text file that

  163. OK, it's time for someone to pull my rear out of the fire :-) I'm trying
  164. to automate the clean up of viruses off a NetWare network using the
  165. Norton AntiVirus NLM. The sad part is that the log file that contains
  166. the infected file information is in binary format of some sort. Symantec
  167. won't give us the file format
